Due to growth, we have a new and exciting position for a Full Stack Developer to join a small and talented team within a successful Travel organisation based in Ireland.
The ideal candidate will have a stronger element on the Back End (80%) with PHP and MySQL, with a good working hands on knowledge of the Front End (20%) with HTML /CSS AND Javascript.
Responsibilities:
- To develop and enhance the company’s websites as well as the back office system
- To update and main all the company’s websites
- To work very closely with the Senior Management team to ensure best practices
- To ensure correct policies are in place at all times
- To report to the software development manager
- To work closely with 3rd party Providers of IT
Experience and Skillset:
- 3-5 Years’ experience within a working environment
- A degree in computer science
- Experience of working with E commerce websites
- Solid experience with Back End Technologies PHP / MySQL
- Good level of Front End Technologies HTML /CSS / JAVASCRIPT /JQuery / JSON
- Solid experience of managing and planning development from Design, Implementation, QA and all documentation
- A solid background of web application security
- Strong analytical skills with a solid attention to detail
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with different developers and internal teams
- Experience with Version Control
- Team player who can also work independently
- A good working knowledge of responsive design
- Keen and eager to be part of a growing team and to add value
- Keeping ahead of the latest technologies
- Ability to communicate to present technical requirements
- Flexible approach
