An exciting opportunity has arisen for a mid level UI
UX/ Product Designer to join a talented team and work on digital products
across both transformation and innovation projects.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years previous experience within UI UX /
Product Design within a commercial environment and be passionate about
delivering end to end design for a range of big brand clients internationally.
Responsibilities:
- To deliver world class design from concept to delivery with a customer centred mind set
- To create and evaluate user journeys based on UX Research data along with both customer and business requirements
- To product design deliverables
- To illustrate ux experience which will include storyboarding / user flow / wiring framing / prototyping and vision boards
- To iterate on designs quickly based on user feedback / stakeholders and testing
- To be able to present your designs and the rationale
- To be an advocate for all types of user needs
- To work with the product and tech teams to ensure the UI/UX /Product Design is aligned with tech capability for the requirements of the project
- To drive alignment and set goals having the understanding of your product across the teams and business
- To work with an agile / scrum team
- To assist the team with the preparation of proposals and budgets
- To keep up to date on design trends and best practice
Experience / Skills / Education:
- A design degree within UI/UX/ Product Design
- 2-3 years commercial experience as a UI/UX/Product Designer
- End to end design experience from concept to delivery
- Understanding of Design Systems / UX Design and Design thinking
- Experience of Sketch/ Figma / Invision / Adobe Creative Suite etc
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Able to work to deadlines and prioritise tasks
- Experience of agile / scrum environment
- Team player who can add value
- Ability to work independently when required
- A strong portfolio showcasing your works
