We are currently hiring for a Lead UK Researcher to work on a fully remote basis in either the UK, Spain or Malta with a strong UX Research background as well as experience of leading and managing a team of ux researchers within the digital sector.

Our client has been bolstering up the current product teams and this has now led to this exciting and new opportunity to work leading a team as well as working hands on.

Responsibilities:

  • To Manage, inspire, mentor and develop a team of UX Researchers within their own projects of qualitative and quantitative ux research.
  • To build the UX Research department by establishing new processes and best practices to maximise efficiency.
  • To undertake and to direct the reports with all planning, facilitation, analysis and synthesis of various research methods including remote moderated and unmoderated usability testing, ethnographic studies, diary studies, persona creation, customer journey, card and tree sorting, competitive evaluations, A/B test, and UX Benchmarks.
  • To drive qualitative and quantitative UX Research data from different sources.
  • To collaborate with the product teams throughout the company to identify new research opportunities.
  • To introduce new research methodologies and tools.
  • To communicate with stakeholders and demonstrate solid negotiation and mediation skills.
  • To lead the creation of centralised research documentation, guidelines and various resources.
  • To champion a User Centred culture across the company.
  • To educate the teams of the benefits of UX Research by conducting workshops and presenting key insights

Qualifications / Experience:

  • 5 years’ experience within a UX Researcher role working on digital products.
  • Experience of managing a team of UX Researchers.
  • A Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Social Science, or a similar related field.
  • Solid experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • Previous experience of Design Thinking, Lean UX and Agile Methodologies.
  • Team player who is passionate about UX Research.
  • Self-starter that is able to collaborate actively with others in a cross functional team.
  • English fluency.
  • Sense of humour!
