We have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced UX Designer to work on a 1 year fixed-term permanent contract for a Dublin-based fintech organization on a hybrid basis (2 days from the office 3 days from home).
The role will be joining a talented team and will need to be highly collaborative and communicative with a strong command of the English language both verbal and written. We are looking for someone with proven experience in the Irish market.
Responsibilities:
- To report to the UX Manager.
- To support the digital strategy in the Digital hub.
- To assist the UX Manager in developing and growing the digital presence through User Experience Design and Research, maintaining the digital properties, and developing the strategy and processes for UX within the digital team.
- To assist the UX Manager with the training and development of UX within the team.
- To lead key UX projects.
- To Research and design the experience of retail web applications.
- To work with the UI Designers to implement strong beautiful designs for the company and help to lead the development of the design system (UI Design).
- To research and contribute to the improvement of the overall digital experience within the company.
- To increase the knowledge of UX Design and UX Research within the team.
- To collaborate with Development and other internal teams to ensure the visual elements are built to design specifications.
- To communicate design ideas and prototypes to business owners and the development team.
- To keep updated on all industry tools and trends.
Experience:
- A Design-related degree.
- 4-5 years of UX/UI Design experience including User Research/ UX Design and knowledge of UI
- Highly motivated and passionate.
- Experience conducting and leading UX Research within a team.
- Previous experience of working with and presenting to stakeholders and getting buy-in
- Highly organized and able to communicate well.
- Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Experience with Figma/ Sketch/ Adobe.
- Committed to delivering high quality and standards in a regulated environment.
- Proficient in design systems and contributing to them when required to do so.
- Able to communicate effectively in a high level of English both written and verbally.
- A strong portfolio of works showcasing full case studies of your work.
