We are seeking experienced Service Design Managers to join an exciting and professional innovation and digital transformation consultancy based in Ireland.


The ideal candidates will have a passion for solving problems and be able to collaborate with a range of different teams internally and externally.

High level of research skills working to identify core needs and pain points along with designing new solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • To design experiences with a customer centric mindset
  • Managing projects and overseeing / leading a small team of designers 
  • To outline tasks, check on progress and deliverables as well as communicate with the senior stakeholders to lead a successful project delivery
  • To work with larger teams and provide information and updates regarding progress and potential changes
  • To conduct a range of research methods to include both in person and on line, benchmarking, data, along with keep up with all industry trends 
  • To structure research in order to reduce the risk of any confirmation of bias
  • To analyse all research and uncover the end users requirements and pain points and be able to turn these into a clear direction for the service experience
  • To lead the design and dev of service concepts to include journeys, blueprints and all service design to gain insights and strategic direction 
  • To set up and manage design thinking workshops with a range of different groups to give the overview of an entire design process from research to delivery and all in between
  • To delivery strong customer stories building an end to end understanding of the complexity for the wider teams
  • To work with the clients and their teams to understand key business objectives
  • To align the end user service needs to drive business goals successfully
  • To engage in all ongoing activities to help the team and company learn and grow within the service design area

EDUCATION / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years’ experience within service design, customer experience, research, or product design exp 
  • Design related degree
  • Solid expertise to analyse ux research to include producing interview scripts, conduction interviews, writing surveys etc
  • Exp of trialling new concepts with clients 
  • Exp of leading the design of customer journeys, service blue prints and all service design assets within varying tools
  • Exp of facilitating and setting up of interactive workshops
  • Exp of identifying project requirements chances and be able to adapt complex situations and any unknown areas
  • A background of creative design capability with experience using software such as figma, sketch, indesign and miro
  • Exp of working with digital products
  • Able to work effectively within a team environment including synthesizing ideas into firm design solutions
  • Exp of multi-tasking in a busy fast paced environment
  • Able to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
  • ***Bonus if you have any skills designing at a conceptual level for prototypes for new services and products
  • ***Bonus if you have any experience in preparing proposals and budget management
